The stalled entry monument at the front of a subdivision is rarely a money problem. Most often it is a specification problem filed under money, then deferred three fiscal years running. Pull an extra box from the first delivery and store it dry, because a physical sample settles an argument a photo never will. Buy the full quantity for all six monuments up front and store the pallets, even when installation waits on next year’s budget. Material bought this year also sidesteps next year’s price. Get it in writing how long the supplier expects to carry the blend.

The first week is paperwork and diagnosis, not construction. An engineer or mason walks all six walls, marks which footings stay, and that report is what the board votes on. By month two the first monument is typically stripped, repaired and clad, which matters because owners see a finished wall before the rest of the money is committed. Within 120 days three monuments are done, with photographs for the meeting. Year two picks up the remaining three.
None of this is unusual work. Ask for two references from communities of similar size, then call both.
